Terms of Service
Effective date: April 27, 2026 · Last updated: May 27, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using RepairNode, you agree to these Terms. If you use the app on behalf of a business, that business also accepts these Terms.
2. Description of the service
RepairNode is an offline-first mobile application for Android and iOS that helps repair shops manage customers, repairs, parts orders, quotes, documents, payments, backup, optional public tracking, and reporting.
Some features are free. Some advanced features require RepairNode Pro. Available packages may vary by store, platform, region, and current offering.
3. Third-party platforms & services
Depending on what you install, buy, enable, or configure, RepairNode may rely on these providers. Their own terms, privacy policies, billing rules, and availability may also apply.
Used for app distribution, store billing, subscription renewal, purchase restore, and refund handling on Apple platforms. Apple may process account, device, transaction, and receipt information under its own policies. Apple Privacy Policy.
Used only when you sign in with Google and enable encrypted cloud backup. Backup files are stored in your own Google Drive appDataFolder, and RepairNode does not read other Drive files. Google Privacy Policy.
Used only when public repair/order tracking is enabled. RepairNode syncs a minimal status record tied to a random 32-character access key. Customer names, contact details, payments, notes, photos, signatures, and supplier details are not included. Supabase Privacy Policy.
Used to verify RepairNode Pro entitlements from App Store purchases. RevenueCat receives anonymous app user identifiers, receipt data, and entitlement state, not your repair-shop records. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Used only if diagnostics are configured for the build and you opt in. Reports are sanitized and intended for crash/error investigation, not advertising, profiling, screenshots, or session replay. Sentry Privacy Policy.
Used only if you configure QZ Tray mode for supported USB thermal printing. QZ Tray runs on your own computer and receives local-network print payloads; RepairNode does not route those jobs through its servers. QZ Tray Privacy Policy.
4. Your data & responsibilities
You own the shop data you enter into RepairNode. RepairNode is a tool you use to manage your own business records.
- You are responsible for obtaining any customer consent required by law
- You are responsible for responding to your customers’ access, correction, deletion, and privacy requests
- You are responsible for keeping your device, backup phrase, store account, and Google account secure
- You should share public tracking links only with the intended customer because anyone with the access key can open that status page
5. Subscription & billing
RepairNode Pro is optional. Billing is handled by the Apple App Store or other supported store shown in the app. RevenueCat verifies entitlement state but does not receive your shop records.
Subscriptions renew according to store terms unless cancelled through your store account before renewal. Refunds are handled by the store according to its rules.
Cancelling Pro stops future renewals but does not delete your local RepairNode data.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use RepairNode to violate laws, infringe rights, mislead customers, process personal data without a lawful basis, redistribute the app, reverse-engineer it beyond what law permits, or publish false tracking information.
7. Intellectual property
RepairNode, including its name, design, code, documentation, and branding, is owned by its creators. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose.
8. Disclaimers & warranties
RepairNode is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every legal, tax, accounting, or repair workflow.
Documents generated by the app are your responsibility. You must ensure invoices, tax settings, messages, tracking links, and records comply with laws in your jurisdiction.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RepairNode’s creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost revenue, device failure, backup failure, store outages, tracking outages, diagnostics issues, or QZ Tray interruptions.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims will not exceed the amount you paid for RepairNode or Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limits may not apply.
10. Privacy
Your use of RepairNode is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains data storage, security, optional providers, diagnostics, tracking, and deletion.
11. Termination
You may stop using RepairNode at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the app or features with reasonable notice. You remain responsible for exporting or backing up your data.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we update the Last updated date and may include notice in app release notes. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Contact
